There will be a rise over the coming years in the number of people choosing to move overseas for employment.
This is the claim made by a new report from Deloitte, which found that 75 per cent of businesses anticipate global labor mobility will rise during the next three to five years.
According to the Strategic Moves survey, 40 per cent of respondents believe their programs in this area require "significant or radical improvement" and almost half believe that emerging markets represent a key strategic business issue.
"The current lack of integration with talent programs and strategies means that many organizations will not be able to fill their talent pipelines with the global leaders required for future growth," warned Deloitte Global Mobility Transformation partner Will Gosling.
A recent report by NYSE Euronext indicated that the majority of bosses in public and private firms expect to create more jobs next year as they predict stronger growth in 2012, something that could lead to more recruitment overseas.
