An award has been presented to Randstad Holding after it was found to have produced the best annual report of 2010.

The FD Henri Sijthoff prize was given to the company at a ceremont on November 2nd and reflects the high quality of the firm's yearly records.

It is granted by Dutch newspaper Het FD to those firms that distinguish themselves through their financial reports.

Randstad's 2009 annual report was described by the award jury as "honest about the current developments in the market", with good descriptions of how it has weathered recent events and its aquisition of Vedior, in addition to an "excellent" corporate social responsibility outline.

Entitled Ready for your future, the document outlined the company's vision for future employment markets and described how it is prepared to meet the challenges of changing labor forces.

Founded in 1960 by Frits Goldschmeding, Randstad specializes in matching individuals with companies and firms with candidates, offering a range of services including temporary staffing, permanent placement, management recruitment and specialist consultation.

The 2009 FD Henri Sijthoff award went to international mail and express delivery company TNT.
