7. juni 2010
Electronics firm to offer 2,000 graduate jobs in ChinaDelta Electronics is planning to hire around 2,000 university graduates during 2010 in order to meet growing demand for power supply switches.

The plans were unveiled by the company's chairman Bruce Cheng, who stated during a ceremony at National Taiwan University (NTU) that the new appointees will assist in the expansion of its production capacity, China Post reports.

According to Mr Cheng, NTU graduates have been successful in their roles in Delta Electronics and he used his speech at the commencement to urge the next generation to do even more than his own in order to forward China and humanity as a whole.

The firm's recruitment programme is likely to include engineering jobs in China, as the group has become the leading global supply of switches for a range of applications, including notebook computers and servers.

Meanwhile, a survey of 220,000 people by Mycos Corporation found graduates are expecting higher wages in China as the economy expands.
