Indian oil and gas group seeks new engineers

Indian oil and gas group seeks new engineersA series of new jobs for engineers in India are being created by the country's national oil and gas business.

According to Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Indian (ONGC), it is recruiting in a range of fields such as production, drilling, chemistry and geophysics.

One of the world's largest operations of its kind, ONGC has launched an online program for interested parties.

A total of 459 posts are available with the company on its graduate trainee scheme for 2010 in a number of geographical areas and it claims to be "looking for promising, energetic and young engineers/geo-scientists, MBAs and CAs with bright academic record to join the organization".

In addition, those seeking accounting jobs in India may be interested to learn the firm is also seeking professionals in the finance sector.

ONGC has operations throughout the hydrocarbon value chain and is responsible for more than 80 per cent of oil and gas production in India, in addition to around a tenth of its refining capacity.ADNFCR-1275-ID-19739203-ADNFCR
