Return to index
A joint conference is being held later this month between officials from France and Tunisia to discuss issues relating to jobs.
The event will be held at the Tunisian Industry, Commerce and Handicrafts Union headquarters and is supported by the north African country's government, according to Tunisia Online News.
It will aim to provide firms seeking candidates with information about the Tunisian job market, create new partnerships between the countries and organizations, as well as provide advice about compliance with employment legislation in both nations.
Delegates from the Tunisian-French Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Embassy of France in Tunisia will attend the Employment Forum, the news source reports, with ministerial offices in both countries collaborating on the organization of the meeting on April 21st and 22nd.
Situated in between Algeria and Libya on the Mediterranean Sea, Tunisia has an estimated population of just under 10.5 million and a diverse economy.
